Cholla Stables LLC is owned and operated by me Carol Young. I’ve been a Registered Veterinary Technician and educator for over 20 years with experience in veterinary care for equines, and a horse owner for over 30 years. I enjoy teaching students of all ages how to ride safely with confidence, with a focus on partnership and team work.

FAQs
What ages do you teach?
I teach ages 4 and up. Lessons for younger students under 6 years typically are 1/2 hour.
What disciplines are taught?
English, Western and trail riding techniques.
How long are lessons?
Private and group lessons are 1 hour each, and for younger student 6 and under may be 1/2 hour.
What equipment do I need?
Long pants/jeans, and shoes with heels are recommended. I do require helmets, and these are provided to students.
